HotEdge

HOTDRIP

HotDrip

HotDrip™is used to create a metal drip edge on roof structures that have a Metal Fascia Cap that serves as the front fascia. Once the metal drip edge is in place, the HotEdge™ Rail System can be installed.

In this type of roof design, typically the roofing material is laid on top of the Metal Fascia Cap (see above). There is usually a small horizontal gap between the bottom of the roofing material and the top surface of the Cap. It is important to confirm that this horizontal gap is present.

Note: In all cases, a one inch minimum metal drip edge must be present for the HotEdge™ Rail ice melt system to operate successfully.

Note: Specification guidelines are subject to change without notice. Before ordering material, insure the latest revision of this document is used.

Warning: Low cost, constant current ice melt cable must not be used. Only safety agency Listed, self regulating ice and snow melt cable for structures that is provided with the system can be used.
