On all new construction or new roof projects, HotShingle is the product that can be installed regardless of the roof type. This is a new standing seam metal roof. Since it is new, HotShingle could easily be installed. On this particular project, the customer wanted more melt back than could be achieved with a single heat trace cable. Therefore, HotShingle2X (a two heat trace cable system) was installed as you can see in this photo. PLEASE NOTE: as in all HotEdge systems, the heat trace cable raceways are separated for maximum heat transfer. For a custom finish, HotCap was installed to help hide heat trace cable as you can see on the corner.
